Fall Quilt Market 2010 – FreeSpirit – Jennifer Paganelli

Jennifer Paganelli‘s newest is called Queen Street, and it features her signature blend of bohemian/psychedelic and traditional in a bright, bold palette. It’s in stores now, except for the laminates (bottom photo), which should follow shortly.

Preview: Queen Street by Jennifer Paganelli

Queen Street will be Jennifer Paganelli‘s next collection. I like the 3-D effect of Dolin (how’d they do that?) and the dots that are like Kei Dots only not so much money! It’s her signature color palette and style with a bit of a 70s twist.

Spring Quilt Market 2010: Freespirit Part I – Now Available

I was thrilled to sit down with Freespirit/Westminster for the first time in an official capacity this Market … thanks to Sarah Bailey for taking the time to show me everything! First up, the newest collections that are in shops now (or will be in just a second). I also got to meet Valori and [...]

Textile Stew: 5/5/10

Pin Pals on Etsy make cross-stitch pins, buttons, barettes, and other ephemera. So sweet! (via Black Threads) Melody Miller reports that her debut for Kokka, Ruby Star Rising, won’t be released till fall. Alexia (Saki Designs) is selling some Flea Market Fancy and out-of-print Heather Ross for Nashville Flood Relief. The book Pattern by Orla [...]

Jennifer Paganelli: So St. Croix

Jennifer Paganelli of Sis Boom‘s latest collection for FreeSpirit is called So St. Croix — a tribute to her former home in the Virgin Islands. I always think I don’t like paisley, but these are going to force me to revise that policy.

If you haven’t heard it [...]

Spring Quilt Market 2009: FreeSpirit/Westminster

This post is part of a series reporting on the Spring 2009 International Quilt Market by True Up East Coast Stringer Mary Beth of Supafine. Advance warning: Most of this post will be smeared with my tears of regret over the unforgivable paucity of photos from the entire row of Westminster Fibers booths. Mea culpa. [...]

Sis Boom: Flower Power

(feed readers: click on over if you’d like to see a slideshow of the fabrics …) Jennifer Paganelli (aka Sis Boom)’s newest collection for FreeSpirit is Flower Power. It’s composed of antique florals and other motifs updated and infused with an eclectic, vivid palette. The zebra stripes are bestsellers from a previous collection (Mod Girls). [...]

Bell Bottoms by Sis Boom for FreeSpirit

Jennifer Paganelli aka Sis Boom‘s newest line for FreeSpirit/Westminster is called Bell Bottoms. Notice how all the designs (except Mary Trellis, topmost in first image) use only two colors, which breathes modern life into the ornate motifs and gives a nod to the papercutting/silhouette trend. I’m also happy to see the plain stripes — I [...]
