Westminster Fabrics has previews of the upcoming Amy Butler lines up now. August Fields is a 55-65″ wide home decor weight heavy cotton sateen. There are 40 fabrics in all, with nine designs each in a varying variety of colorways. There are also two collections of solid colors, one quilting weight and one decor weight. Consider this a preview of August Fields — the colors might not be quite accurate and it ‘s hard to determine scale from these images. Look for the final images on Amy Butler’s site soon, once she and her staff have all fully recovered from Quilt Market! The collection should be available in stores in July.

    I like Coreopsis – then Fresh Start.

    Fresh Start makes me smile – looks like little round TV’s on stems.

    Oh no, more Amy Butler to tempt! I like ‘Coreopsis’ and ‘Fresh Start’ and probably ‘Bright Buds’ but not in that colourway. Coreopsis is my favourite though, those colours are just so happy!

    I have to go with “Fresh Start,” but “Dream Poppies” was definitely a contender! The solids palette, on the other hand, I’m trying to love. Better in person, though, I bet.
