The Design Center

Philadelphia University‘s Historic Textile Collection houses over 200,000 textile and fashion related objects in a historic midcentury house. Their staff started a Tumblr to share their swatch collection online, ranging from Victorian mill engraved prints to midcentury interiors textiles. They are also on Pinterest. This is a resource worthy of hyperventilation if I’ve ever seen one!

I graduated from Philadelphia University in 2003 with a degree in Fashion Design. How nice to see the college mentioned here. They have a Pucci dress in their archives I would love to get my hands on.
