Spring Quilt Market 2012: Clothworks

Here’s a look at Clothworks‘ newest offerings. Alyssa Thomas of Penguin & Fish is up first, with her second organic collection Picnic Pals. Clothworks expanded their organic solid colors to go with the Pals, and Alyssa has a companion embroidery pattern which you can get for free by signing up for her newsletter. Which you want to do anyway, right? Picnic Pals is just out in stores now.

This is Air Mail 1930s by Karen Roti, who I found from her Facebook is doing fabric design in her retirement. What a dream! This stamp- and mail-themed collection will be out in November.

Yay – not one, but two Ellen Crimi-Trent collections! Gourmet Feathers with its geese-chefs is out now, and Schoolies will be out shortly after the kids are back to schoolie.

Little Village is the next assortment from Japanese company Kinkame, with whom Clothworks has a partnership.

Giant poppies are the centerpiece of quilt artist/teacher Pamela Mostek‘s debut Clothworks collection, Scarlet.

That’s just a few of the beautiful and interesting collections coming from Clothworks this summer and fall — their super-user-friendly website and great blog┬áis always worth a visit, so go check them out there.
