Fall Quilt Market 2012: Windham

It was such a delight to visit Windham‘s booth – so much color, and a range of design styles from sophisticated to cheerily whimsical.

Let’s start with Type by Julia Rothman. This image really doesn’t show off all the fabrics to their best, but you can see them here - I’m looking forward to using the orange paperclips!:

Bella by Lotta Jansdotter is another collection of clean Scandinavian design. You can also get a peek at her April 2013 collection called Glimma here (and, hint, with a little Googling you can see all the prints!).

Cream & Sugar is a cheery caffeine-and-sugar-cented collection by Ampersand Design Studio:

Day for Night by Rosemarie Lavin Design features the updated gray/citron yellow to elegant effect:

Phoebe by Another Point Of View is another sophisticated offering:

Hello Gorgeous! by Iza Pearl Design. Great use of stripe on the quilt border!:

Fresh by Another Point of View:

Bright and dotty blenders make up .COM from Whistler Studios:

In the best-celebrity-fabric-line-ever news, Windham also has contracted with Amy Sedaris for a fabric collection called I Like You, which will be out in January.

Sam is a fiber artist and the quilt designer behind Hunter’s Design Studio.
