Fall Quilt Market 2012: Tula Pink

As usual, a visit to the Westminster/Freespirit/Moda booth at Market did not disappoint. There is a lot of ground to cover these days – Amy has already told you about some Freespirit designers and surrounds, I’m here to cover the big guns, starting with Tula Pink.

Tula Pink’s new range, Saltwater, is maritime themed and features shells, octopi, waves, and lifebouys. There are three colourways of aqua, coral and seaweed. There are 24 pieces in the range, plus six voiles and four laminates.

Tula’s booth was as usual an explosion of colour with some beautiful quilts on display. This market almost everything on display in the booth is a free pattern download from Tula’s website, including the quilts Anchors Aweigh, Color Block, and an English paper piecing kit for Hex on the Beach.

Australian quilter and fabric designer Sarah Fielke is the author of several books and is a world-traveling teacher. Amy Lobsiger is a talented quilter and writer of the blog Mrs. Schmenkman Quilts.
