Fall Quilt Market 2012: P&B Textiles
P&B Textiles has lots of trend-conscious collections bursting with personality and soul coming out this coming winter and spring:
Out of This World is the next collection from illustrator Jill McDonald. It’s a delightful collection centered around two big, fun panel prints.
Silvia’s Garden (pdf link), translated from paintings by Bulgarian fine artist Silvia Vassileva.
Dottie’s Sweet Shop is a studio collection with a mixture of text, photorealistic candy, and candy-dot-colored polka dots.
… and there is a new “soft bright” palette of their Color Weave textured basics to go along.
Mariko is a rich, beautiful, Asian-inspired collection with metallic accents.
Breezy (pdf link) is also from the in-house P&B studio, full of big painterly florals, a nice coordinate composed of nice freestyle brush strokes, then some scattered dots and a more open crosshatch print.

I’m honestly ticked off that they included Pluto as a planet. That question was answered some years ago and people need to get with the program already. I would have bought up this fabric in a heartbeat, but not with this glaring error.
Oops, should have looked at the close-up photo first. It does have an asterisk and say “a dwarf planet”. Still don’t think I’ll be buying.
