Fall Quilt Market 2012: Marcus

Marcus Fabrics had a slew of fresh offerings, a little something for everyone. First up, some of the modern goodies! Marcus’ new division Studio 37 will offer collections for the modern quilter. Greta Songe is making her debut with two mini-collections for them, Kitschy Kitchen and Here to There:

And some in-house basics collections from Studio 37. Retro Geo:

Modern Method – I like the small-scale “blender” possibilities with these:

Something for the kiddos – A Fun Day in the Jungle includes a cheerful panel:

And the Marcus side of Marcus has new solids, near-solids, and Aunt Grace. Centennial Solids – Amish with a Twist show off beautifully in this Amish inspired sample:

New Ombre Hand Dyeds:

{ quilts designed by Nancy Rink using the Ombres }

Aunt Grace in a Pickle  - 1930s Reproductions – with a whole cloth backing print that could be used as a cheater cloth:

Provence and Beyond by Faye Burgos – I think several of the companions in this are great modern blenders too.

And for the holidays: Who’s Watching? Love the integration of the cat’s tail into the overall design on the left!
