New IKEA Fabrics

Checking in with good old Ikea! They have several new mini-collections of their trademark Scandinavian maxi-graphics. Above, Annamoa by Lotta Kühlhorn, for the surrealist child’s room, perhaps? I like the faces print below, Edma, and the other scribbly prints that resulted from a collaboration between IKEA and Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm.

Above, Solgerd (left) and Solrun, two pretty painterly florals by Malin Åkerblom. See also Gullan Blom.

Evalena and Evalotta are also by Malin Åkerblom and have a happy kids’ room vibe.

Finally, Monalis by Kristine Mandsberg and Patricia by Linda Svensson Edevint, two very beautiful, mysterious, foresty florals.

Even more cool new prints can be seen here.

A couple of the Annamoa prints are super welcome re-releases! I have some scraps in my stash that are a couple of years old from that line.

we have pillows on our couch of a lot of these… and i just picked up a few yards of the evalotta last weekend!

Last time I visited Ikea (3 weeks ago), they said that most of the Annamoa line is being discontinued. I hope the staff was mistaken as I LOVE this fabric. They certainly haven’t had any in stock anywhere for months!
