We’re topping off the Connecting Threads mini-series with a giveaway! Connecting Threads has three brand-new collections out: Pearadise, Tulane, and Sweetgrass Prairie. They also have 33 new colors of thread and 10 new Thread Sets. Just leave a comment on this post letting us know your favorite fabric collection of the three, AND your favorite thread set. I’ll randomly select one winner for each fabric collection, and a fourth winner will get a thread set! Comments will close and winners will be drawn this Tuesday, Feb. 21, around 6am Central U.S. time. Sorry, friends in far-flung places, this giveaway is only open to residents of the U.S. or Canada.

I am in love with the Pearadise collection. It’s yummy and cheerful! As for the thread set, I like Celebration.

tulane, with its vibrant, bright and rich colors and rainbow well because it’s pretty .
I love the salt and pepper thread set. The fabrics are all gorgeous, but I think Tulane is my gave! Thanks for the opportunity!

Pearadise is really sweet. All of the thread sets are gorgeous, but I think I like Confections the best.
Pearadise is so cute – I love the fruit basket prints with the wonky lines! I do really like the Sweetgrass Prairie too. I’m trying to finish a quilt that my grandmother started many decades ago and I think some of the traditional prints in there would blend very well. I like the Farmer’s Market thread set best. Beautiful colors.
While I’m a little obsessed with pears, Tulane has my heart at the moment. I’ve been obsessed with those bright colors lately.
And I like the Salt and Pepper thread set… greys are so useful.
I’m glad to see Connecting Threads on here. Some of my local club ladies are obsessed with it.
My inner country-girl is swooning over the sweet grass fabric, and my wilder side is loving the Celebration thread set!

oooh – that tulane would POP in my neutral living room!! as for the thread, that was harder… i’d have to say the essential neutral. although the farmers market would be great. or the rainbow.

I love the beach house thread set! But I’m kind of torn on the fabric. Tulane is so cool looking, but I think I’m going to have to say pearadise because of those awesome fruit basket basics.
Tulane for its inspired take on classic patterns, and Woodland for its pretty and ever useful earth tones.
Tulane is my fave and the essential bright thread, such a pretty rainbow of colors!
I’m going with Pearadise – so fun! Also love the Essential Gardens thread set.
Pearadise is my favorite out of the three. And, I think I’d go with Essential Black & White thread set. Thank you for a chance to win.

The Sweetgrass Prairie reminds me of the old-time feed sacks that ladies used to make dresses from! Although Sweetgrass Prairie takes me back to my days of everything Laura Ingals Wilder, I have to say that right now my favorite fabric of the three is the rich colors of Tulane and the Beach House thread.

Love the Tulane for the fabrics, and although the colors on the threads are great(especially the Beach House Collection!), I think the Salt and Pepper would probably be a bit more practical for what I sew with every day.
Tulane and Celebration! Love the kapow! color in Tulane and the large graphics in the designs. Celebration threads cover most of the colors in this collection so would go perfectly. And of course, ANYTHING from Connecting Threads is excellent so how can one go wrong?

Well, since I live in the New Orleans metro area, I guess it’s a good thing that Tulane is my favorite collection. Actually, even if I didn’t live here it would be my favorite. I’m a nuetral thread kind of gal so the Basics Neutrals would have to be it. I’ve been ordering from Connecting Threads for years and have never been disappointed. Great sales too!
