Kaffe Fassett Fall 2012

Who else has been feeling jade/emerald lately? The jade in Kaffe Fassett’s Fall 2012 collection is simply bioluminescent. Love it. The new patterns are the Jupiter Stripe (which also reminds me of geodes), Oriental Trees, Chard, Peking, and Camellia – follow the links to the Westminster/Rowan site to see all the colorways. There are also new colorways of earlier prints.

Pink Chalk Fabrics is feeling the blue/jade — Kathy is carrying the prints above and featured them in the new “What Goes With What” series on their blog. Pink Chalk’s Diana lists solids from across manufacturers that closely match the colors in a print collection. Pure simple genius.

I’m looking forward to reading Kaffe’s autobiography, Dreaming in Color, which was just released, along with a new quilt pattern book, Kaffe Quilts Again. Glorious Color has those (along with all the new fabrics, naturally!).
