Dear Stella: New Kids/Novelty Collections

More new collections from Dear Stella, which will all be debuting in Kansas City next week! It’s a Shore Thing is by Jack & Lulu, Dear Stella’s first licensed designer. I love the simplicity of it. Have I ever seen an ocean-themed collection in boy and girl colorways? I’m not sure I have.

Play Date incorporates lots of collage and hand-drawn lines and motifs. Pattern in pattern, for some extra creativity to go with the cuteness. This comes in regular quilting cotton and flannel, and the shower curtain print comes in laminated cotton (of course!).

It’s London fever because of the Summer Olympics … there have been a couple other Britain- and London-themed fabric collections already, and I’m sure we’ll see more at the upcoming Quilt Market, but I’m really digging Town & Country’s Miroslav Sasek vibe.

Thanks to Jamie at Dear Stella for letting True Up give the world-premiere sneek peek at Bukhara and Town & Country!

Nice to see another Sasek admirer. Can’t wait for those Town & Country fabrics to be released. The terraced houses print is so cute, as are the cars. And that red London Landmarks is also going straight onto my list of fabrics to buy next season!
