Hanna Ruusulampi

{ Folklore Fish interlock knit for Ikasyr }

I found Finnish designer Hanna Ruusulampi through Spoonflower, which led me not only to her amazing online portfolio (see English version of the fabric portfolio here) but also to a treasure trove of Finnish fabric shops. Hanna designed the interlock knit design Folklore Fish for the shop/mini-manufacturer Ikasyr, and the breathable PUL print Ainotaur for the shop/mini-manufacturer Myllymuksut. Both shops have lots of great children’s apparel fabrics, including exclusive designs, so lots to browse through there, though it looks like Myllymuksut only ships to EU countries.

But let’s look at more of Hanna’s work … she not only licenses her designs but prints digitally and screenprints by hand. And the designs are amazing — some cute, some edgy, some a little of both; a woman after my own heart!
