Spring Quilt Market 2011: Westminster/Rowan – Amy Butler

Amy Butler‘s fabric was some of the first fabric that I ever bought, so I was thrilled to meet her in person and see the new lines.

The booth featured Amy’s new line, Organic Soul, features prints “derived and rescued” from Amy’s Soul Blossoms collection. These prints will be available in FIVE substrates: corduroy, a silky rayon, organic quilting cotton, voile, and laminated cotton. No joke- corduroy and rayon! Apparel sewers, get excited! The fine-wale corduroy was really my favorite — it would make a lovely backing for a baby quilt.
