Spring Quilt Market 2011: FreeSpirit – Tina Givens, Jenean Morrison, and Erin Mcmorris
FreeSpirit will be shipping Tina Givens‘ Pernilla’s Journey this July. It’s a combination of quilting weight cotton and linen cotton blend prints and takes its inspiration from one of Tina’s favorite childhood books about a young girl who lived in a place called Parrot Jungle. Check out the whole line here (there is a great image of fantastic Pernilla riding an elephant).
Have you seen Jenean Morrison‘s Silent Cinema in your local fabric store? I really like her grey pairings in this line. There are 28 quilting weight cottons in four colorways, six home dec weights, and four laminates (first picture below).
Erin McMorris was the first person I ran into on Thursday night after registering. She was not the first fellow Portlander I had to travel to Salt Lake City to meet! Her new line, Summersault, shipped in May and also boasts home dec and laminates as a part of the collection. I am a big fan of the raindrops and the geometric tulips.
