Spring Quilt Market 2011: FreeSpirit — Mark Cesarik

This was Mark Cesarik’s first booth at Quilt Market. He and his wife Cara started releasing designs under the Sew Bettie moniker on Spoonflower. FreeSpirit picked them up, and they recently released Calypso Swing, a line of violets, pinks, black and grey quilt weight cottons.

Mark takes care of the surface design, and Cara takes care of the crafty side. She, along with the help of several etsy sellers, sewed up all the samples for their booth. Mark’s next line, Morning Tides, is due out in mid-August:
