Spring Quilt Market 2011: Art Gallery Fabrics
Art Gallery Fabrics impressed with its prize-winning booth and lovely new prints. I spoke with Pat Bravo, who walked me through all that Art Gallery had to offer.
The Pure Elements solids were a huge hit at market and at Sample Spree. They are remarkably soft and the colors are so vibrant. Pat said they will continue to introduce more colors in the future.
Art Gallery has a few new blenders collections.

Oval Elements:
Pat also showed me three new collections. The rep described these to me as “Latin Liberty” and I think that exactly right. Imagine Liberty florals fused with Miami colors and you get Art Gallery’s florals. The below links will take you to Art Gallery’s website where you can view each of the new collections in their entirety.
Hyperreal Garden, which will be in stores in August:
Bespoken, which will be available in stores in September.
Modernology, which will be available in October 2011.
Art Gallery also has a new line of patterns, about which Pat was super excited. They come on a DVD, so it is basically like a personal sewing lesson. They had one of the dvds playing in the booth and it looked really neat.
[Disclosure: The folks at Art Gallery generously provided fabric to me for the Block Party book, but I did not receive anything of value from Art Gallery in exchange for writing this post.]

Wow! These are all delicious! So cheerful! And the hand of the cotton fabric…so smooth! Always a delight to work with Pat Bravo’s textiles!
It’s so nice to see Pat Bravo. I love her fabrics. They are so “high class” and Elegant. Wow thank you.
I never met a Pat Bravo fabric I didn’t LOVE! The colors, designs, and unbelievably fine texture are an unbeatable combination. Happy to see the Pure solids, too.
Thanks for the peak inside the Art Gallery booth at Quilt Market!
