Fall Quilt Market 2011: Michael Miller – Ooh La La by Pillow & Maxfield

Ooh La La is Pillow & Maxfield’s latest. It’s a big collection (three colorways, Sky, Citrus, and Spice) with some big prints. I’ll talk more of the worlds-colliding trend that was palpable at quilt market — people consciously blurring the boundaries between home dec, fashion, and quilting prints, but this collection is a great example of it.

And that’s Kathy Miller unfurling the border print from the collection. Huge thanks to Kathy for showing me everything!

I really love the color combos in this line!

Now *that’s* what I’m talking about. These prints are gorgeous – which is a relief, because honestly, I haven’t seen tons of stuff from this show that I have to have. I still can not get enough of that *gypsy” sort of folk-looking type of fabric. Is it the beautifu turquoises that many of them employ? Dunno. But this particular line is now a must-have for me! Whew! I was getting nervous.
