Fall Quilt Market 2011: Kokka – Ruby Star Shining by Melody Miller

I got to spend a little more time with Melody Miller and Allison this time around at Quilt Market, and I can vouch for the fact that they’re as awesome as they seem. I just want everyone to move to Austin so I can hang out with them more! I am in love with Melody’s new Ruby Star Shining as much as I was with Ruby Star Rising and Ruby Star Spring. You can see all these sewn samples individually with credits here. I’ve noted the fabric covered suitcase tutorial so that maybe I can make a rollie bag for next quilt market that is not so ridicule-worthy.

OK, I’m in love with the fabric AND the suitcase! That’s one of those ones you see and think–that is so cute! ….why didn’t I think of that?!

    Love it!

Kokka had the cutest samples in alllll of market (if you ask me) and these Melody Miller ones had me standing there squeeling for quite a while! That typewriter laptop case? I NEED that. The green daisy apron? Yes, I need that too. I have a pic of me taking off on a trip with that suitcase! sigh. (btw Kokka are not afraid to use force when retrieving their samples back. I am sorry if it got dinged up Mrs Melody)

  4. oh me oh my … I am without doubt one of Melody’s biggest fans … this line is just stupendous! Can’t wait to make LOTS of things with it!
