Fall Quilt Market 2011: Cloud9 – June Craft and Michéle Brummer Everett

Cloud9 is gearing up for their next release, Monsterz by Michéle Brummer Everett. It’s so adorable and I think captures exactly what the modern parent wants to sew with. You could definitely say the same for all the Cloud9 Kids collections: Michéle’s follow-up, Seven Seas, and new Cloud9 Designer June Craft‘s Hey, That’s Swell!, which we got to see on paper at Market. Standing ovation!

See the Cloud9 blog for projects: Pillows, Hexagon Quilt.

June Craft‘s Hey, That’s Swell! also includes panel prints — a definite trend! — featuring her signature long dog:

Omigoodness gracious…these are just so so darling!

  2. Heather says:

I do love these prints and many of the other Cloud Nine prints. However, fabric prices are already up substantially from two years ago. What makes “organic” fabric worth paying that much more for? I’m not a believer in the organic food movement and figure once you’ve washed fabric once there is no difference between “organic” and non-organic. Any scientific proof that buying “organic” fabric is worth the extra money?

  3. Angela says:

so adorable! These will definitely be a must buy for me!!

  4. My inner child wants these designs for myself.

  5. Julia says:

Beautiful patterns. I am crazy about colorful cute fabrics like these. I would get them all!

  6. Catherine says:

Cloud Nine always puts out the best designs!

so happy to see miche’le’s new line! (typing on iPad and can’t find an accent on this key pad. ha!) I’ve known her for years and am THRILLED to see her work on fabric. So fun for you to feature it!
I agree with you completely, Kim, it captures exactly what a modern parent would want to sew with. Definitely!
