I didn’t think that Kei Fabric had a website, but thanks to this post from Super Eggplant, I’ve been set straight. (The links on the front page don’t seem to work in Safari — here’s an internal link from which you can access everything though.) I’m excited that I’ll be able to keep better tabs on one of my favorite company’s new releases!
Ms. Mariko also introduced illustrator Chico Hayasaki‘s first fabric collection to me, which consists of five prints in 4-6 colorways apiece on quilting-weight cotton. Two of the prints are delicate painterly designs, and the others are more graphic conversational prints. I love the bags with (I think) embroidery thread skeins the most — so simple and retro. I haven’t seen the collection in any shops yet, but keep an eye out, I’m sure they’ll be available in the near future.
