StudioE – Color Me Fabrics

StudioE Fabrics has a new collection out called Color Me, black-and-white prints meant to be colored in with fabric paints or fabric markers. (Links go to Dharma Trading Company, whom I love independently, and because they donated fabrics for the book.) The fabrics I spotted at Sew Mama Sew, who should be sharing the results of their coloring experiments soon! I would imagine it’d be hard for kids (and maybe grownups too) to keep the fabric stable while coloring it — maybe it’d be best to iron pieces to freezer paper first.

    Man, what a great idea!

this is a fabulous concept! I was meaning to try it with a black/white print I already have – lots of fun for the kiddos! :)

  3. I actually colored on this fabric last fall at market and it was about like coloring a coloring book page — not hard at all. It was produced by Fine Lines and drawn by Belinda Gee and then they merged with Studio e.
