Owls is the newest fabric from Melissa Bombardiere (Melbomba), hand screenprinted in four colorways onto a 55% linen/45% cotton blend. I have a bit of all of her other fabrics (mix pack!) and just love them.

Reminds me of the silkscreen activity that we had back then in college, it was just a simple floral design for a shirt. This made me think of doing such activity again it’s been years the last time I’d made one. One good fact about screen printing is that it is still attractive in this age where digital printing is blooming.
Is the linen/cotton for clothes? Do quilters use it ?
Judith, it depends on the weight — Melbomba’s fabrics are medium weight, maybe a little too heavy for clothes (depending on your preference) but would work great for quilting, crafts, and light home dec. I love linen-cotton blends … so versatile and they have a nice texture.
