Technical Difficulties
Hi all — images got stripped from the feed somehow today as I was experimenting with a new social bookmarking link plugin. The images should be restored now. Don’t worry, the change was neither intentional nor permanent!
Also, I heard from a reader that if you click over from the feed to comment, you see someone else’s name and email address in the comment fields. Obviously that’s bad. Would you mind clicking over to see if that’s true, and if it is, let me know which browser/device on which you’re viewing the site? Feel free to leave a fake email address.

From Firefox 3.6.8 I got my own name and address, but my email address was spelled wrong. How odd.
No errors with Firefox 3.5.11 that I can see. Works in IE too (just can’t find the version).
Not sure what version of Firefox I’m running but my name came up fine. Perhaps someone else used that reader’s computer?
I clicked over from Google Reader using a Mac with Firefox 3.5.9 and there’s a name/address here.
Same as Silka. Someone else’s name and email, and website. Google reader, Mac, Firefox 3.6.8.
No problem with email address etc. here… Safari 5/Mac.

No problem with IE 7.
But some of the Horrockses images haven’t displayed for me. Sometimes that happens and then I see them the next day, but I have yet to see these. One example is this one:

I clicked over from my google reader and am using Firefox 3.6.8. In the “Leave a Reply” section there was already a name and an address typed in that wasn’t mine.
I clicked over from Google reader, using Firefox 3.5.6 and the name/e-mail address fields were populated with the info for the commenter before me (Shannon).
I clicked through from Vienna (the RSS reader, not the city) to Safai on a Mac and all my info is prepopulated and correct.
(Your site is one of my favorites, and I’m not generally averse to change, but I can’t say that I’m enthusiastic about the new design.)
I clicked through from Google Reader using Firefox 3.6.6 on my Mac and I see my information in the comments form. Looks good!

hum, yes! I had the info of Rosy Lady (with email and blog) filled out which is kind of funny, but I guess that she would mind someone else posting under her name!
I am using firefox 3.0.19, but I guess it is not a problem with my browser more likely there is something wrong with the cookie setting
Oh thank goodness it was only something temporary. I thought you’d switched to truncated feeds and I was going to send you a nasty note. Heh.
Name/Mail/Website comes out just fine for me with all my deets.

Okay, I’m stupid. I actually forgot to take Mimi K.’s info out before I posted. Me thinks it’s time for another cup of coffe.=)
Clicked over from Google Reader on a Mac using Safari 5.0.1 and saw my own name and info!
I’m on G1 phone, and the forms are blank for me. Of course, there’s only a 50/50 chance that I will be able to get the word captcha to work, but that’s my phone’s fault.
