Daily Swatch: Vintage Sheets

New tresure

I am very late in getting into the vintage sheet craze, but I’m so in now. Too late to find good ones in my local thrift stores, probably, but not to late to find great bundles and uncut originals on eBay and Etsy. Above: a beautiful stack representing a few different styles/moods, belonging to mame* on Flickr.

I have been in and out of the market for new sheets over the past several years and am always disappointed. They really, really don’t make them like they used to. Though I guess I’m glad that polyester blends are no longer in vogue.

Me too! I’m late too :( I’ve managed to pick up some fat quarter packs of vintage sheeting here and there.

OH you can still find them at thrift stores! I picked up one the other day. Those you showed are gorgeous. Who knows, maybe they will start marketing the designs again? Hmmm, now there’s an idea…

I have a serious addiction to vintage sheets. And they are still at the thrift stores, just a bit harder to find these days. Estate sales are the best source.
