Puns are the highest form of humour – or so my dad says. But then he’s an inveterate punner. He reserves his greatest admiration for people who can pun in another language.
That is the nicest seer-sucker I’ve ever seen!
This fabric actually looks like plisse: a seersucker look-alike that is done with a chemical treatment. You can check by ironing a small corner: if you can press out the bumps, it is plisse. If you can’t, the bumps are woven in, and the fabric is a true seersucker.
Of course, I can’t quite tell from the photo, but I have my suspicions.
