Thomas Paul for Duralee

I feel like I’m betraying Quilt Market by my sudden interest in home dec fabrics, but I don’t think Quilt Market will mind. This eclectic and gorgeous bunch of prints is from the two Thomas Paul collections for Duralee. They are normally only available to the trade but Velocity has them for sale, retailing at $45-51/yard. They are 54″ wide, upholstery grade 100% cotton or cotton-linen blends.

His stuff is fantastic. I about fell on the floor when I found a remnant (four yards of fabric) at my local fabric store for $5 a yard. Did I buy it? You bet. Do I know what I will do with it? Absolutely not. (Though I did make one potholder. Ha ha!)

Thanks for your blog. You have a great eye. I don’t comment often, but I read all the time.

Those are wonderful! A bit out of my reach, to say the least, but wonderful!

These are amazing! I literally gasped out loud when I saw the Oceania one. With shipping costs to the UK, any order would cost an absolute fortune, but I’m now going to be obsessing over how I can use some of this and trying to justify the cost to myself!

Hi Kim. I love your blog and would love to see more home dec fabrics. This is the area where I first started designing before I got into painting/ licensing onto quilt fabrics etc.
