Alyssa Thomas of Penguin & Fish came to the rescue on Twitter when I asked about Minneapolis hotels and possible spots for the Fabric 2.0 party. I’m so glad she did because it led me to her incredible online shop and booth at Quilt Market. The booth was situated “right between Moda and the bathrooms” so I hope it got her the attention she deserves! It goes without saying that her work is adorable, and I was seriously impressed by how well-thought-out her presentation was.
While the embroidery patterns, and especially her alphabet series, was the focus of the booth, Alyssa was also hoping to get her fabric designs in front of the manufacturers. In case you still need help in that area, Alyssa, here’s me doing what I can! Here’s one of Alyssa’s pattern collections, digitally printed, bundled up and put to action in an amazing quilt and pillow:
More embroidery … and you loved on the unicorns, right, Melissa?
