Spring Quilt Market 2010: Moda – Fig Tree & Co.

Oh no! I forgot to get a picture of Fig Tree & Co.‘s Johanna Figueroa — in fact from this point forward at market I think I started getting fabric tunnel vision! But I’m sure you’re acquainted with her already — I mean, her upcoming fabric collection, Breakfast at Tiffany’s (delivering Sept. 2010), will be her 16th. (How many can you name without looking at her website?) And her beautiful quilts never fail to impress/inspire awe/make me want to take one down from the wall and curl up on a prop couch. So let’s enjoy them now …

You know how I love triangles, so I was mesmerized by this quilt. It’s called Jelly Parfait and Joanna insisted that you don’t have to do any fussy triangular piecing, it’s all strip-pieced and angle cut. Put this on my list. More loveliness …

Thanks so much for all of these market posts. I was wondering if I could use the first picture in this post, of course I would credit and link to you. I actually pieced that quilt and the other version of Jelly Parfait for Joanna, and yours is the best close up picture I’ve seen. Thanks again!
