Spring Quilt Market 2010 – Birch Fabrics
Cynthia Mann of Birch Fabrics (you may know her better from her shop Fabricworm) and her friend Joi wrangled their first-ever Quilt Market booth to show off Birch’s soon-to-deliver Circa 50, and the upcoming collections Circa 60: Beach Mod (Circa 50 and 60 are both by Jennifer Moore of Monaluna, to whom congratulations are in order!) and Marine by Dan Stiles.

These prints are so awesome it is extra delicious icing to me that they are 100% organic. To me, this is the future of fabric, or at least I hope it is — small manufacturers, modern prints that are a little outside the box, using sustainable materials and practices. Hooray!
