Spring Quilt Market 2010: Amy Butler
Amy Butler and her booth was gorgeous as always. Her Fall 2010 fabric collection Soul Blossoms is still only on paper, but that didn’t stop her from whipping up quite a display. And there is some other news …
Yarn! Organic yarn! It’s called Belle and it’s from Rowan. There are two weights, Aran and DK, a 100% cotton/wool blend, which I was able to identify by sight alone (I still got it!). A companion pattern book, Midwest Modern Knits (also from Rowan) is going to get me back into knitting, I can just tell. The yarn is already available in the shops
Something else to look forward to …
Amy Butler’s Style Stitches: 12 Easy Ways to 26 Wonderful Bags is coming this October from Chronicle Books. I’m already entranced by some of the patterns in there.
More Amy Butler: Yummygoods and Everkelly, Hawthorne Threads.

I love Rowan yarns and I love those leggings! Wish I had those legs though… ;D
