Fall Quilt Market 2010 – Riley Blake

Riley Blake

{ Domestic Diva by Emily Taylor }

Riley Blake Designs has grown by leaps and bounds in the short time they’ve been on the scene. Their booth real estate seems to grow exponentially with each successive market, as does their current and future fabric offerings. Not only that, they’ve expanded their range of products, offering buttons, ribbons, trims, zippers, and crocheted flowers that coordinate with each new collection.

The collections you see here are all out now. Some of them I’ve covered before, and the ones I haven’t I’m showing you more in depth. Most of their future collections are not ready for public consumption yet, but I’ll just tease you with the names and descriptions at the end of the post. While the typical Riley Blake collection is cute, graphic, 2-D, with a very traditional mix of focus prints and coordinates, get ready for a wider variety of design voices and more 3-dimensional, realistic motifs.

Lila Tueller, formerly with Moda, is now with Riley Blake, and her first collection is called Isabella. I was struck by the floral and thought it needed a close-up!
