Fall Quilt Market 2010 – Anthology Fabrics

Khristian Howell & Bryant Park

The Spring Quilt Market in Minneapolis was the first one for Anthology Fabrics. I didn’t have time to visit them then, but I made a point to this time after being impressed by their initial offerings, including Khristian A. Howell‘s High Society and Diane Kappa‘s Folk Life and Sweet Tooth. I was thrilled to run into my online friend Khristian there (that’s her above), and she showed us her and Diane’s new collections. First, Khristian’s Bryant Park, which will be out in January 2011. I love the palettes and that the prints are suitable for either fashion or quilting. (I think that’s the trend amongst contemporary fabrics … and why not? Most fashion prints are suitable for quilting, but not vice-versa, so why not serve the widest market you can?)

Kim, I am so hooked with this company! Just saw and bought some of their fabric for the first time last weekend in Intercourse. I hope they start to get more buzz because they deserve it. Great Quality! Love these new lines also.
