New Release Tuesday

New Release Tuesday is my weekly roundup of new fabric sightings. These fresh arrivals have started to arrive in fabric shops and are ready to buy. Retailers, as always, if you carry any of these collections, let us know in the comments.

Kokka Trefle Big Prints

The carnival print from Kokka was probably my single most favorite print from Spring Quilt Market 2010, and it’s available now (along with the other Large Trefle prints) — I spotted them at Fabricworm.

Martha Negley’s Autumn Medley, spotted at Sew, Mama, Sew!. Man, those colors, they just glow!

Vicki Payne: Logan Home Dec

Vicki Payne‘s second home dec line for FreeSpirit, Logan — this bird print, not visible in the photo above, is gorgeous.

Everyone’s abuzz about Alexander Henry‘s Fulham Road cotton lawn collection, which was featured here a few weeks ago, so you might have missed that there’s also a new round of miscellaneous quilting cottons, including this great retro Christmas “Merry Main Street” print. Wait, is that Phillip in there? Pink Chalk Fabrics has the entire Christmas collection. And for something completely different: Kage Fighters (at eQuilter)

Lovely Morning by Hoodie for Blank Quilting — this minicollection coordinates with the also-new Dottie Mushrooms. Spotted at The Fat Quarter Shop.

OK, I’m not sure I can keep up with new indie pattern releases every week, but these two are special! First, The Uniform Project will be offering kits of the now-famous dress, with a gorgeous custom cotton-silk blend jacquard weave fabric. Pre-order now for October delivery. (Thanks to Lili at Spool of Thread for the link!)

And Fabricworm just released the first in a series of free downloadable .pdf patterns. The Bandeau Romper was designed by Fabricworm staffer Andrea Patton. More power to you if you can rock a romper all day long, but I think I could swing it as a bathing suit coverup!
