New Release Tuesday

Dream On by Urban Chiks for Moda yardage is in stores now! Word on the street is that despite the fierce internet love, this collection didn’t do as well with traditional brick & mortar shops, so not a whole lot of it was printed. If you like it, snatch it up quickly!

City Weekend by oliver + s for Moda quilting cottons AND knits are also hitting the shops now.

All Star 2 is a great collection for boys, but it would work for girl superstars too. By My Minds Eye for Riley Blake.

Making her debut on fabric is Amanda Herring of The Quilted Fish, whom we’ve met before here on the blog. Her ethereal Sweet Divinity is also produced by Riley Blake.

From the Timeless Treasures studio comes Petit Village, which is pure retro mod folk fabulousness. I love it!

And from little village to a big one — this one-off New York print (in two colorways) is also new from Timeless Treasures.

I also adore Betty Dear by Darlene Zimmerman for Robert Kaufman — Zimmerman’s usual fare is small-scale 30s reproductions, but this collection was inspired by 40s housedresses. The scale is larger and the florals are gorgeous and showy. Just in time to whip up your Betty Draper costume for Halloween!

New Release Tuesday is my biweekly roundup of new fabric sightings. These fresh arrivals have started to arrive in fabric shops and are ready to buy. Retailers, as always, if you carry any of these collections, let us know in the comments.
