Horrockses Fabric Prints at the V&A

When I reviewed the Horrockses Fashions book recently, I didn’t realize that the Victoria & Albert Museum Shop would be selling yardage of a couple Horrockses prints (well, metreage!). Be still my beating heart. I might have to brave the terrible exchange rate and international shipping for these, and for the Liberty + V&A fabrics that I never got but still want! But hey, they have a sale is going on right now — 10% discount with code XMAS2010 through 10/31.

Hey Kim- seriously, if you need some of these fabrics and want me to help order them and send them on (I am UK based), just let me know! I have been debating myself about buying some. I enjoy your blog so much, it would be nice if I could do something to pay you pack for the fun and good advice I get from you!

This had completely passed me by, thank you for bringing it up. Love the blue daisy fabric!

Luckily for me I have family in the UK so ordered some of the Liberty fabric and had it sent to a family member who was coming over here to visit. Didn’t realize they still had it available, so can now go ahead and buy the extra yardage I need.

I love your blog but it has been costing me some serious money since I discovered it a couple of months ago. I just can’t seem to pass up some of the fabric you post, as well as visiting the online stores who advertise on your site.
