Digital Fabric of the Week: Dotty Logic

Dotty Logic is the brand name for the original fabric and handmade creations of Jasonda Desmond of Vancouver, Canada (via Texas). Jasonda just opened her Etsy shop and introduced her first fabric collection, Beachcomber, which is digitally printed on GOTS-certified 100% organic cotton sateen. The seaside-themed prints are in a lovely soft palette of pink, yellow, and gray. I hope you’ll browse through the Etsy shop and read the individual descriptions of the prints — she talks a bit about her process in creating each one, which I think is so interesting and cool. The fabrics are also lovingly styled and photographed, and she offers some finished products made from her fabrics too. I also love that there is such a variety of prints. This is what digital printing allows us to do, folks, and Jasonda is doing it perfectly in my book!

For the grand opening, U.S. and Canadian customers get free shipping on any item during the month of June. Follow Dotty Logic on Facebook.

Those are beautiful! Thanks so much for featuring them; I’m so happy to have even laid eyes on them. I’ll be snapping up a few for sure!

Love these fabrics! Such gorgeous soft colours and prints. I’m from Vancouver too so it’s exciting to see a local fabric line. The shells print is my favourite!
