Central Texans! Here’s something to look forward to after being soaked by Hermine. The Austin Area Quilt Guild Show is September 17-19. It has moved to the Palmer Events Center so you know it’s going to be the biggest and best one ever. And Malka is one of the vendors! Ever Kelly has teamed up with Superbuzzy to offer free tutorials and projects with Japanese fabrics and notions. First up, the back-to-school lunch kit above (pdf link). Keep an eye on the Superbuzzy blog for more to come.

Hi. I’m going to go ahead and leave a comment on behalf of my sister-in-law Susan. She’s fabulous and she’s a crafty girl, among her multitude of talents. We’ve been discussing plans to meet at the Quilt Festival in Houston in October. I think she would enjoy attending this quilt show.
