Daily Swatch: Reunited Colorways With Guest Curator Samatha

This week, we welcome guest curator Samatha, a fellow vintage fabric collector who co-writes the blog Two Green Chickens. She will be reuniting different colorways of the same vintage designs.

This pairing pays homage to Vera Neumann. I don’t think I have ever met a Vera design I didn’t adore. The pink colorway is a napkin found on Flickr, the blue is a tablecloth I thrifted. You can find more Vera loveliness at the Vera Textiles Pool on Flickr and her company still exists!

I adore Vera Neumann!!! In my humble opinion the Queen of all the “Vera-named” designers!

In the 60′s my Mom was the perfect size 8 and my dad was pals with a Vera salesman. My lucky Mom, huh? She got all sorts of samples and looked totally cool and fashion forward.

Wow, I didn’t know Vera’s company still existed! thanks for the link! I love her designs!

I’ve been loving this reunited colorways series! I swear I’ve got a vintage scarf–or is it a hankie?–around here somewhere with “Vera” scripted on it….
