I’m Here!

rainydowntown

I have arrived in Houston for Quilt Market Fall 2009. It’s pouring! I got to carpool with Nancy of Mod Green Pod and it was wonderful to have her along to talk about our corners of the business. Though the storm seemed to stay on top of us the entire drive, nothing too harrowing happened. After some nourishment I’m off to check in at the Convention Center, get my hard-earned media credentials, and catch what I can of the Schoolhouse series of presentations and classes.

Last year I was plagued by hunger and headaches so I came more prepared this year. Below is your temporary True Up World HQ for the next four days, complete with Advil, water, and plenty of snacks.

So watch this space over the next few days … I will do my best to almost-live-blog and Twitter about all the happenings here. I’m so excited to get going!

Welcome to Houston! We’ve been praying here for that rain; it’s the leading edge of the front that is finally going to cool us off the 70′s. All last week it was in the 90′s. I’m very ready for summer to be over.
