Fall Quilt Market 2009: Robert Kaufman (With Giveaways!)
Robert Kaufman‘s hottie marketing department (Kyle, Emmie, and Ally) showed me nearly the entire year’s worth of upcoming releases. Some of the most exciting things I saw were Josephine Kimberling‘s next line, scheduled for mid-late 2010; and Amy Schimler‘s On a Whim II (January 2010 release). Keep an eye on the designers’ blogs for the big unveilings!
Here are other lovelies that you can expect in the near future from RK. You’ll notice a lot of designers from the scrapbooking world, which seems to be a big trend lately.

Giveaway Time!
I have sample packs of three brand new Robert Kaufman collections up for grabs in this, our final Quilt Market giveaway. See the end of the post for details.
Guatemalan Flora by Priscilla Bianchi – seven 10″ squares
Charm pack of Darlene Zimmerman‘s not-yet-released Three Bears Collection (35 5″ squares) plus a large-scale panel print (not shown). Ms. Zimmerman is another designer/textile historian I’d love to meet someday …
Charm pack of the entire Chirp collection by Katie Hennagir (23 5″ squares). Katie is the manager/creative director of Bay Window Quilt Shop in Perham, Minnesota and this is her first collection, filled with birds, hearts, and retro coordinates. It comes in three colorways: boy, girl, and neutral. Like the Three Bears collection, Chirp also includes a large-scale panel print, but unlike Three Bears, this print is not included in the giveaway.
To enter this giveaway, just leave a comment on this post naming which of these sample packs you like the most. I’ll draw winners Wednesday, November 4, 2009, around 2pm Central U.S. time. Note the shorter-than-usual time frame! Please leave only one comment per person. Readers worldwide are welcome to enter.

I love chirp. Really like the bird print in it. Thanks!
Oh, definitely the chirp although the 3 bears is adorable.
All three are really lovely, but I think the 3 bears would be my pick. Thank you.
I like ALL of them!
My favorite is the chirp charm pack (I wasn’t sure if the whole line or just the large scaled print was the one that wasn’t available).

Chirp, Chirp. I’m excited to see all the new fabric that is coming out next year!
Guatemalan Flora by Priscilla Bianchi looks wonderful. Would love to stitch these into some hand-woven Guatemalan fabrics that have been looking lost and lonely in my stash.
I love their new prints, but especially love the “chirp” the best. Thanks
My favorite is the Chirp collection!

I love the Three Bears
I’d love to win the Chirp collection, especially in neutrals or blue colorways. I make items for a Holiday Sale to benefit our library, and these new fabrics would be great.
And I’m subscribing to your feed; I’ve just discovered your blog and I love anything to do with fabric.
Kathleen C.
I love the mingle collection…can’t wait till it comes out
All of the fabrics are fabulous, but I’d have to give my vote to Darlene Zimmerman’s newest collection. I have a weakness for 30s fabrics!
Thanks a bunch! :~D
Count me in for the Chirp fabrics. They look adorable.
Thanks so much!
love em all but chirp is my favorite
I love the Three Bears charm pack, but wouldn’t be disappointed to win the Chirp one, either.
having to choose is so HARD!! I guess I think i would choose Chirp…but the 3 bears is a very close second….

I’m totally torn between Tree Bears and Chirp. Would you believe I used to NOT like thirties? What was I thinking?
Definitely Chirp – CHIRP, CHIRP, CHIRP! The birds have me completely.
Chirp is so cute! Love it!
Chirp!! The birds have it for sure.
Chirp! Definitely!
Chirp, chirp, chirp of course!!
