Fall Quilt Market 2009: Robert Kaufman (With Giveaways!)
Robert Kaufman‘s hottie marketing department (Kyle, Emmie, and Ally) showed me nearly the entire year’s worth of upcoming releases. Some of the most exciting things I saw were Josephine Kimberling‘s next line, scheduled for mid-late 2010; and Amy Schimler‘s On a Whim II (January 2010 release). Keep an eye on the designers’ blogs for the big unveilings!
Here are other lovelies that you can expect in the near future from RK. You’ll notice a lot of designers from the scrapbooking world, which seems to be a big trend lately.

Giveaway Time!
I have sample packs of three brand new Robert Kaufman collections up for grabs in this, our final Quilt Market giveaway. See the end of the post for details.
Guatemalan Flora by Priscilla Bianchi – seven 10″ squares
Charm pack of Darlene Zimmerman‘s not-yet-released Three Bears Collection (35 5″ squares) plus a large-scale panel print (not shown). Ms. Zimmerman is another designer/textile historian I’d love to meet someday …
Charm pack of the entire Chirp collection by Katie Hennagir (23 5″ squares). Katie is the manager/creative director of Bay Window Quilt Shop in Perham, Minnesota and this is her first collection, filled with birds, hearts, and retro coordinates. It comes in three colorways: boy, girl, and neutral. Like the Three Bears collection, Chirp also includes a large-scale panel print, but unlike Three Bears, this print is not included in the giveaway.
To enter this giveaway, just leave a comment on this post naming which of these sample packs you like the most. I’ll draw winners Wednesday, November 4, 2009, around 2pm Central U.S. time. Note the shorter-than-usual time frame! Please leave only one comment per person. Readers worldwide are welcome to enter.

Definitely Chirp, although the Guatemalan Floral is a close second.
Ooh, tough choice, but I think I like Three Bears the most.
I think I have to go with Chirp!
My favourite is the 3 Bears Collection.
Chirp is just my style!
I think I have to go with Chirp as my favorite. Just adorable.
LOVE the Chirp sample pack!
