Fall Quilt Market 2009: Alexander Henry Part III: Big Black Book
As I discovered last year, Alexander Henry is unique amongst fabric companies, and that’s true not only for their designs, but for their business model and delivery schedule. Kathy of Pink Chalk Fabrics explains it better than I can here.
Here’s a look inside the legendary Big Black Book at the collections and one-off prints you can look forward to in 2010. Since they’re sold on paper first, the duds (they have duds?!) never make it to fabric. So if you’re extra excited about something, it can’t hurt to lobby your favorite retailer to place an order.

Awesome old school sneakers.
These dogs remind me of vintage novelty cocktail napkins. I’m already envisioning curtains for my son’s room.
In case you missed them: Alexander Henry Part 1 (Halloween), Part II (Home Dec and another featured collection).

Isn’t it great, the BLACK book… it lay on our kitchen table last week when I ordered my AH prints to come to Germany: the brown kichen prints with the cute mushrooms the colourful puppies and.. and.. and some terrific “torrid zone”. Please don’t let me wait soooo long!
Thank you for a peek at all those wonderful designs.
