Wonderland by MoMo for Moda
With the rise in popularity of Japanese fabric, it was only a matter of time before a U.S. company picked up on the trend and produced their own version of Japanese cute. The single-named MoMo is a woman designer from Japan working with Moda for the first time. Wonderland, inspired by Alice in Wonderland, is the perfect blend of Japanese design and Moda sensibilities. My favorite parts are cheater prints, scissors (Snip Snip), and all the polka dots and plum going on.
Wonderland is just arriving in stores now — please feel free to leave sightings in the comments!

I spotted this today at my local fabric shop (Stitcher’s Crossing in Madison, WI) today and fell in LOVE! Came home and here it is again. It’s taunting me!

I love this range. Something quite different. I have spotted a little of it at Christmas time in a gorgeous little country town called Berry in New South Wales, Australia. http://hstrial-edubbelde.homestead.com/ I didn’t give in to the temptation at the time, but I don’t think my resolve will last!
Ahhhh! The tweedle dee print is SO cute.
Thanks for the bio on MoMo! I spent the day loading my shipment of these gorgeous fabrics into my shop: http://www.pinkchalkfabrics.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=37_47_186&zenid=8bd4495357b608fa128412796309e95a
I was excited to see that Moda printed several of the designs on Twill. The twills in this collection are a fabulous medium-weight cotton with excellent drape for bags, skirts and accessory projects. I also love that Moda kept them affordable, only a dollar more per yard than quilting cottons.
And yes, Snip Snip has got to be my favorite!
I love this collection!!! None of my local shops have it, so I’m most likely going to buy it from fabricworm.com!
Ha! I saw this range and thought “it’s a fusion/copy of Japanese prints!
I was just in a shop today pawing these as they were putting them on the floor. They are beautiful!
Oh, I love this! I’ll definitely be on the lookout.
I just got my shipment of these in today. One customer was buying it as I was pulling it out of the boxes!
I spent the rest of the afternoon listing it on my etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/search_results_shop.php?search_type=user_shop_ttt_id_5100699&search_query=momo
I just received a beautiful shipment at Fabritopia! These colors are fabulous!
I spent last night uploading these fun fabrics into my shop. There are several prints I will be buying for myself!
Please stop by and take a look.
