Aaah, we’re starting to get glimpses of the fall-winter 2009 collections that are making their debut at Quilt Market next month. Sandi Henderson just posted a preview of her followup to Farmers Market, called Meadowsweet. Thirty prints in two colorways (pear and peach) make up the quilting weight cotton collection. In what is looking to be a trend (one that I hope sticks), some prints will be available in cotton lawn and corduroy.
Shown here are a few of my favorite prints — see them all here. Sandi wrote that there will be a third colorway coming out in a few months. I think that’s a pretty smart of Michael Miller to break the collection up into more manageable chunks for cash-strapped fabric retailers, and it’ll be interesting to see how it works!
