Naomi Ito’s Spring 2009 Nani Iro collection for Kokka (translated link) is now available in stores. The painterly designs are at subtle and gorgeous in color and line, yet bold in pattern and scale. Her signature florals and Asian- and Scandinavian-influenced abstract shapes are once again printed on double gauze, one on a cotton-linen blend double gauze. There are also a few cotton-linen blends, linen canvas, and double knits. The new wood buttons are simply amazing.
