Also spotted on the Michael Miller website today, this crazy adorable, Mary Blair-Esque kids’ print called “Ring Around the Rosie.” I haven’t seen it in any shops yet … I’ll let you know when I do.

    That pattern was originally 60s wrapping paper (you can see it on p193 of Kevin Ayers “All Wrapped Up”, on a pink background). Leafing through my copy I was amazed to recognize so many fabrics that started off as wrapping paper 40 – 50 years ago! Good for Michael Miller for bringing them back to life and hopefully there will be many more to follow (and yes, I’ve bought my 5 yards worth of this one as it is so lovely)
