Liberty Art Collection
This year Liberty of London introduced its new Art Collection, “fusing the compelling work of six established British artists with the innovative creations from the Liberty Design Studio.” The current artists are Grayson Perry, Paul Morrison, Mike McInnerney, Michael Angove, Anj Smith, and Simon Hart. The designs are printed on their famous Tana lawn and retail for £19.95 (about $32 US). Purl Soho is the only U.S. source I know of — they have some of the Grayson Perry prints online.
The Art Collection Liberty Fabrics are available to purchase online and in the Liberty store on London’s Regent Street.

hey!
bolt in portland has the bike print (or at least they did).
Some of these are really pretty but does anyone else find some of these a bit on the creepy side?
Becky — I guess some of them have some creep factor, but I love seeing edgier designs.
An interesting collection… The fabrics aren’t traditionally pretty, I don’t think. They’re a bit weird, but cool!
Have bought a couple of the Grayson Perry tana lawns – yup, the creepy ones – which are great fun (although I can imagine they’re not to everyone’s taste). Twice I have tried to buy the Michael Angove Fairy Clock in the pink colorway from Liberty online, and twice it was sold out (no sooner did they have it in again that it was all gone again!). I have it in the taupe colorway, which is nice, but the pink just looks delightful and I can’t wait for it to be in stock again to get some at last!
