Textile Design at Chelsea is (was?) a blog covering student work at the Chelsea College of Art and Design. It hasn’t been updated for two years, but there is still a lot of inspiration there. Melanie Bowles, co-author of Digital Textile Design (covered here last week), is a Senior Lecturer there.

Though there are other kinds of beautiful textiles to see here, I’m most interested in the works by digital printing students. They illustrate the endless possibilities of this young technology.

Vicki Murdoch. I love this — a travel trailer full of crazy cat prints. Ms. Murdoch now operates Silken Favours.
