Anyone know where to donate surplus fabric in the New Jersey area? I’ve got two readers asking.

  1. Jessica says:

I live in NJ – you can donate the surplus fabric to me ;)

Just kidding… There is a few thrift shops in Freehold, NJ. One on the corner of Center St. and I think Jackson St. is a hospital thrift store – all the proceeds go to the local hospital. I go to the store often, it’s run by extremely sweet retired women. They accept donations in the store – Monday to Friday (maybe Saturday, IDK) before 2PM.

Re: fabric donation…I would suggest the empire quilt guild. They accept donations, you could have them call Nancy at the City Quilter. 212-807-0390
p.s. i have moved my blog to squarespace, so if you link to craftopia at all would you mind updating my link :)

  3. Great set of links! Thanks for gathering them :-)
